How it works

It all starts with understanding the need.

Before building any training, I take the time to understand your context, the members of staff concerned and the situations where they need French.

We talk for 45 minutes, then each participant takes a level test. From all of that, I propose an arrangement that fits the objectives, the levels and your organisation.

The framing conversation and the level assessment

The 45-minute conversation and the level assessment are not charged for.

They let me understand your need and prepare a proposal that fits, with no commitment of any kind.

Payment starts with the training, once the agreement is signed.

The four steps

  1. 1

    Scoping the need with you

A 45-minute conversation to understand the context, the members of staff concerned, the objectives and the organisational constraints.

  2. 2

    Assessing each participant

Each member of staff receives an online test to place their comprehension and expression skills.

  3. 3

    Building a clear map

I set the levels, the needs and the objectives side by side, to work out the most coherent arrangements and groups.

  4. 4

    Proposing the arrangement

You receive a proposal with the objectives, the format, the pace, the number of hours and the rate.

What we try to pin down

Who

How many members of staff are involved, on which sites, and at what starting levels.

For what uses

Taking part in a meeting, understanding a letter, talking with colleagues, handling everyday life in France or preparing for one specific situation.

When

Availability, the pace you want, and any deadlines to take into account.

How

Online or at your offices, one to one, in pairs or in a small group.

The level test

Starting from solid ground.

A declared level gives a first indication, but the assessment places each participant more precisely and lets groups be formed around their level.

The test stays deliberately simple and easy for your staff.
